Why is it so difficult to count??

During the past few months I have heard a lot of discussion about all the empty store front on Main Street. The number ranges from a few to as many as 20. Mary Jo of the Alliance has a very low count where as most everyone else has had a high count. We only have a few blocks to count so why the big discrepancy?

  1. Perhaps the problem is the number of stores that have no real merchandise for sale. I like being able to pick and choose which bail bondsman I want. Who knows when you might need to get out of jail! Christmas shopping among the variety of law offices is an old holiday tradition. And nothing beats a good old fashioned store front church-when was the last time you drank strychnine or handled snakes? Those darkened windows sure look inviting. So maybe the stores really aren't empty...they just seem that way.
